Bachelor of Business Administration - Marketing Communications Management
Actively involved in sustainable practices, Tessa has gained hands-on, practical experience at Camosun College. As the “Go Beyond” Campus Organizer, she has focused on student engagement and is proud of the faculty involvement.
After completing the first two work terms, Tessa received her Diploma in Marketing with a Co-op Designation. The BBA seemed like the logical next step because she wanted a degree with flexibility.
Although she is in the last semester of the BBA in Marketing Communications Management, she has already secured a position at Never Blue, a local internet marketing company. This is the third job she has worked as part of her Internship Designation. She is gaining life experience, guaranteeing a career upon completion.
Camosun was Tessa’s first choice when she was looking into post-secondary education on Vancouver Island. When she learned about the programs offered at other schools, Tessa was convinced that Camosun was far more logical. “I did a Co-op term early on which gave me great experience doing market research for a local company. I saw this as much more beneficial than a purely academic based degree.”
Additionally, Tessa has left a lasting impression on many of her teachers. Their professional networks and availability have been as asset to Tessa, which she will not soon forget. “The teachers want you to succeed, which is why the education experience here is so great.”
