The Bachelor of Business Administration - Human Resource Management & Leadership Major (BBA) builds on the success of Camosun College’s ground-breaking programming in HRM. You will gain a solid foundation in functional and strategic HR Management professional practice, with an emphasis on leadership, particularly the strategic role HR practitioners’ play in leading and influencing organizational change. The experienced faculty in this innovative new major will ensure you gain the knowledge and values as well as the leadership skills required for success as an HR professional. The program is designed to prepare you for success in the knowledge examination for the Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation, granted by the BC Human Resource Management Association.
This four-year degree is a “two plus two” program—you'll earn both a business diploma and a BBA and have the option of full- or part-time studies with courses offered weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays to suit your life schedule. At least two courses are offered through Distance Education (DE),
Admission to the BBA program is at the start of Year 3, after the completion of a business diploma program. Other programs may also be eligible, please contact Academic Advising for more details.
Earn while you learn: Relevant, paid work experience is built into the program. You'll graduate with practical work experience which will be complemented by valuable networking opportunities.
