Learn more about the BAET program!

The Bachelor of Athletic and Exercise Therapy (BAET) is a four year degree program aimed at the prevention, immediate care, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries, and the prevention and management of hypokinetic diseases.

The BAET program is both innovative and unique, combining two traditionally exclusive disciplines: athletic therapy and exercise therapy into one comprehensive curriculum. Through extensive clinical and fieldwork experiences, you'll gain the theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and prerequisites necessary to seek designation as Certified Exercise Physiologist™ with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP). Our accreditation from the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) provides you with the opportunity to become Certified Athletic Therapists.

You'll be addressing the design and application of conditioning and rehabilitation programs that enables injured and unhealthy people to return to an active lifestyle. You'll also gain the knowledge and advanced skills in athletic and exercise therapy, exercise science, and business skills to operate a successful practice.
