Portfolio requirements for new BAET students
New students entering the Bachelor of Athletic & Exercise Therapy Program are required to complete and submit a portfolio prior to the start of your first term.
The Bachelor of Athletic & Exercise Therapy portfolio includes a needs assessment questionnaire, two reference letter forms addressing ethical and professional capabilities and a summary of 12 observational hours in three separate athletic therapy and exercise therapy settings (the student information package emailed to new students provides more details on the above requirements).
For assistance in finding clinics to complete your portfolio hours, please visit the Athletic Therapists of British Columbia website. Contact therapists in your region to attempt to complete your hours prior to the start of the program. Our AET clinic at Camosun has also been helpful in assisting students with hours.
