Tuition fees are applicable to the year in which the apprentice course occurs and are subject to yearly increases.

Additional costs

Students who withdraw at least 60 days prior to start date will receive a full tuition refund. Students who withdraw 30-59 days prior to start date will receive tuition refund minus $175.00. Students who withdraw within 29 days of program start or after program start will not receive a refund of tuition.

Financial Aid

Are you wondering what options are available to fund your Apprentice Training? You may be eligible for a grant or a loan through a variety of options provided to Apprenticeship Training students.

New Canada Apprentice Loan

  • An initiative of the federal government to assist students in completing their apprenticeship in a designated Red Seal trade.

Are you eligible for a grant? To find out if you are eligible for the Apprentice Incentive Grant or Apprentice Completion Grant go to ITA BC.

Canada Apprenticeship Loan (CAL)

Available to eligible registered Red Seal apprentices to help with the cost of their training.

Federal Apprenticeship Training Grants

Apprentices can receive up to $4,000 in grants to pay tuition, travel, tools, or other expenses.

Average Apprenticeship Salaries

Depending on the trade, you can earn between $25,000 and $45,000 per year.
