Burgess_Marie_Twins.jpgIf you are fascinated by the whole world—everything from biology to chemistry to physics—but don't want to be limited to a just one area of study, then perhaps the Associate of Science Degree (General Science) is right for you. We offer a wide selection of math and science courses, most with excellent lab components.

General Science can lead to virtually any job requiring a general science background, from medicine, to research and teaching.

As a graduate of an Associate Degree program, you will have successfully completed a well-rounded two-year slate of studies, and you'll be ready to meet new challenges in employment or further education—you'll also have demonstrated both the commitment and competence necessary for success in post-secondary academics and in the professional workforce. Accept this opportunity to learn more about your world.

If you want to take academic courses on a part-time basis you'll be admitted as an University Transfer student.

Work Experience is now an option for Associate Degree students

Associate Degree programs have either a Co-op or Internship option. Students will gain practical work experience, which may be paid or unpaid, through either a four-month Internship or two co-op work terms, available after eight courses of academic study. For more information, contact a Co-op Employment Facilitator at phillips@camosun.bc.ca.

If you have questions regarding your educational goals, choosing a course, course prerequisites or transfer credit, please contact Academic Advising.
