I've worked at Camosun College since 1995 teaching desktop and web publishing; graphic communication; and media history and issues. My formal education includes a BA in English and sociology and a degree in graphic design from the Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design. I am a professional member of the Graphic Designers of Canada. Most of my work involves computers. I have enjoyed watching graphic computing develop to point it is at today, and look forward to the many exciting developments ahead. I find teaching to be a demanding and fulfilling profession. I look forward to the relationships with each new group of students and watching them explore and grow personally and professionally. Among my personal interests is photography, traveling, experiencing the great outdoors through gardening, walking, hiking, biking and kayaking. |
