This Access program is for those who don't yet have the requirements to enter our Information and Computer Systems Technician, Computer Network Electronics Technician, and Engineering Graphics Technician programs.
Upgrade your math and English skills and take courses in technical communication, computing, and technology studies that you'll need for your next step. In one semester, you can earn a certificate and priority seating into three of Camosun's technician programs.

Next steps
Students must complete the Computer and Engineering Technician Access program with a 2.0 GPA or higher, and obtain a grade of “C” or higher in ENGL 130 and MATH 139. Students will have met all the requirements for:

Admission requirements

When you apply you will need to submit proof that you meet the following admission requirements.
Tip Where a letter grade is specified, you must have proof of that grade or higher.

Note: It is highly recommended that the academic admission requirements be completed within the past five years. If more than five years has elapsed, upgrading in the required subjects is recommended.
Note: Access to a computer outside of class time is highly recommended.
Completion requirements
- Students must complete all courses and achieve a minimum GPA of 2.0 to graduate from the program.
- Students must also obtain a grade of C or higher in ENGL 130 and MATH 139.
