Biology 150—Human Anatomy course

Biology 150—Human Anatomy introduces structural and functional relationships within the eleven systems of the human body through a lab and lecture based format. Students will study gross and microscopic human anatomy with slides, models, photographs, diagrams and organ dissections. Anatomical and physiological terminology is stressed. This course combines classes at Belmont and Stelly’s Secondary schools, with labs at the Camosun College Lansdowne Campus.
The course
- is for Grade 12 students prepared for college level course work
- is for students with Biology 12 and English 12 (or who are currently participating in English 12)
- provides secondary school and college (university transfer) credits and concurrent registration (secondary school and college)

Step 1: Application
- Apply: Contact your secondary school biology teacher to complete the Lync Course Application package. Completed registration packages are submitted to the SIP Office.
- Deadline for Applications: First week of Semester 2
Step 2: Camosun program @ Lansdowne
- Attend Biology 150 at Camosun College at scheduled times
- Courses start February 2010 and run to June 2010.
- Upon Completion: You will receive 4 secondary school and 4 college (university transfer) credits.

- $250 Tuition Fee (approx.)
- Ancillary fees are waived/covered by Camosun.
- Tuition fees may be sponsored by the school district for students completing this program while earning secondary school graduation. See a career counsellor to determine if you qualify.
