Health 112 – Holistic Health and Healing course

The Health 112 course introduces you to the philosophy and practices of holistic health and healing as a basis for self-care. This course is theoretical and experientially based. You'll learn the philosophy and beliefs of health and healing that form the basis of a holistic health perspective.
The course
- is offered to students in grade 12 who are prepared for college level course work
- is for students that have completed or are currently completing English 12 or high school students currently participating in English 12
- provides 4 high school and 3 college (University Transfer) credits and concurrent registration (high school and college)
Get started
Step 1: Complete application
- work with school counselor to complete the SIP Course registration package
- contact SIP office, 250–370–4828 for more details on the application process
- deadline for applications is November for January courses
Step 2: Camosun course
- attend Camosun's Lansdowne campus at schedule times
- schedule options TBA (typically includes an evening and weekend option)
- courses start the first week of January and run through Spring Break to mid April
Upon completion: you'll receive college credits and high school credits.
Costs
- $36.41 application fee and $241.20 tuition fee (you may be sponsored by your school district – consult with career counselor for more details)
- text books are approximately $70 (available at the Lansdowne Campus bookstore)
