SMFB 110 Sheet Metal and Metal Fabrication Foundation
Effective date: August 2017
This course provides students with the skills and theory required for work in the fabrication and installation of sheet and heavy metal components in the residential, commercial and industrial construction industries, ship building, and aircraft manufacturing. Students will learn the skills and theory required to interpret drawings, layout, mark burn, saw, shear, punch, roll, bend drill shape, form, fit and assemble metal components.
- 15 lecture hours per week, plus 15 shop hours per week over 30 weeks
- $3,030 plus additional fees. Effective from September 1, 2017 to August 31, 2018.
Restricted course Open to students in Sheet Metal and Metal Fabrication Foundation.
