Academic Upgrading registration
Prior to registering
Attend a School of Access Information Session (highly recommended for new students).
- learn about the various English, math, and basic computer studies courses offered,
- bring your high school transcripts or your assessment* results, if you have them,
- talk to staff, ask questions and learn about which options are best for you.
Getting registered
Contact Enrolment Services at either campus and learn how to register! Our helpful staff will get you registered and attending classes as soon as possible.
- Bring your high school and/or post-secondary transcripts or your assessment* results to Enrolment Services and ask about registration in the academic upgrading course(s) you need.
- Find out how to apply and register online by contacting Enrolment Services.
*Note: There is an assessment fee which covers all Math or English assessment testing in a six month period.

- Visit an Academic Advisor (this step is optional but highly recommended).
- Bring your high school and/or post-secondary transcripts, or your assessment results, if you have them.
- Get information about Camosun College’s programs and courses.
- Create an educational plan.
Once you have registered
- Attend class before you buy your textbooks.
- Bring your Assessment results and your Registration receipt to class.
- If you are unable to attend the first day(s) of classes, contact us. Otherwise, if we do not hear from you, your seat may be given to another student who is able to attend.
