Notes:

  • Math prerequisites assume the academic version of the courses (unless otherwise noted).
    • Math 10 refers to either Principles of Math 10 or Foundations of Mathematics and Pre-calculus 10.
    • Math 11 refers to either Principles of Math 11 or Pre-calculus 11.
    • Math 12 refers to either Principles of Math 12 or Pre-calculus 12.
  • The Math 11 prerequisite for Business courses (e.g. BUS, ECON, FIN, etc.) may be satisfied with one of:
    • C grade in Principles of Math 11 or Applications of Math 12
    • C+ grade in MATH 072 or MATH 135
  • You will need a minimum of an A grade in MATH 107 in order to use it as a prerequisite for MATH 100.

English proficiency for program admissions requiring English 12 with a C+

Students may meet the English proficiency requirement with one or more of the following alternatives.

International students should contact Camosun International to learn about your options towards direct entry into our programs.

  • LPI score of 5 or higher
  • IELTS score of 6.5 overall, with:
    • minimum of 6.5 in Reading and Writing
    • minimum of 6.0 in Listening and Speaking
  • TOEFL scores:
    • iBT 88-90 (min 20 in each section)
    • CB 230 (min 4.5 TWE)
    • PB 570 (min 4.5 TWE)
  • Camosun English assessment
