Which Precalculus course is right for me?

Camosun offers two precalculus courses MATH 107 and MATH 115, designed to provide you with a strong background for calculus; topics are covered in more depth and with more rigour in our precalculus courses than in a high school math 12 course. They are university transferable and are also articulated as ABE Provincial Level Mathematics which is provincially recognized as an alternative to Principles of Mathematics 12.

If you're not sure which one to take, download and take their readiness checks to help you figure out which course is right for you.

Your Needs Choices
I need a course to satisfy a math prerequisite to enter a Business diploma , Dental Hygiene or Criminal Justice program or MATH 109, MATH 112, MATH 113, or MATH 116. MATH 135 (lecture) or
MATH 072 (self-paced)
I need a course that can be used as a math 11 prerequisite for any Camosun program or course. MATH 137 (lecture) or
MATH 072 + 073 (self-paced)
I eventually need a course that can be used to satisfy a math 11 prerequisite but I don't feel ready to jump into MATH 137, an intensive 8 hr/wk course. I want a gentler introduction since I have been away from algebra for a while.   Semester 1: MATH 135 (lecture) or MATH 072 (self-paced)
Semester 2: MATH 137 (lecture) or MATH 073 (self-paced)
I need a math 11 course that I can use for programs outside of Camosun.* MATH 072 + MATH 073 (self paced) or MATH 137 (lecture)
