We discovered how much we love dental hygiene. Although it can be very challenging, it is a rewarding profession that provides life-long learning opportunities. We are grateful that we were given the opportunity to provide dental hygiene care for those who would otherwise not have access. We feel a sense of fulfilment knowing that we made a difference in their lives.

The time in the clinic has definitely helped my clinical skills and confidence. The clinical setting was much more demanding than we are used to and made for long, hot, and hard days. However, as the days went on, we could see improvements in our own skills, even just in the short time we were there.
