Fall 2010 Orientation Schedule

All international students who join Camosun College International (CCI) for the Fall 2010 Semester are invited to join CCI for Orientation events scheduled September 1, 2 and 3, 2010. Please check out the schedule below:

Students who attend our Orientation programs are more prepared starting classes, are more connected to the resources of the college, make friends faster and generally have a more positive experience while they study at Camosun College.

Fall 2010 Orientation Events

Homestay Orientation (For Camosun College Homestay students)

• When: Wednesday, September 1, 2010, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
• Where: Wilna Thomas Cultural Centre (Room 234), Lansdowne Campus

Welcome Orientation for all new international students

First Day:

• When: Thursday, September 2, 2010, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
• Where:Fisher building (Fisher 100) Lansdowne Campus

Final Day:

• When: Friday, September 3, 2010, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Lunch will be provided
• Where:Campus Centre (Room 124 A & B), Interurban Campus

During the two-day orientation, students meet other new and experienced students and:

• get an early start on buying text books, getting ID cards and bus passes before the line-ups
• learn about the services that are here to help you in your academic success and cultural adjustment
• Take student-guided campus tours on both campuses
• Meet Peer Connections students
• Receive an Orientation package, a Student Handbook, and a Student Safety Card.

Register to confirm your attendance and participation at cciorientation@camosun.ca and gain a chance to win a Gift Certificate from the Camosun College Cafeterias and Bookstores. Prizes will be awarded at Orientation Luncheon.
