Students

Counselling

Our counselling staff will help you adjust to living in Canada. The International counsellors are trained to assist students with a wide range of student issues. These can be personal, academic, or cultural difficulties. We also offer assistance when you are ready to return home.

We can help if you are not sure about your future career. The counsellors use a variety of inventories, exercises and computer resources to assist you in making a good career choice. Working with a counsellor to identify your interests, skills, and motivations as well as learning about occupations will help you feel confident about your program selection at Camosun.

These services are all included in the fees you pay as a student.

Your meeting with a counsellor will be private. Unless you give them permission to discuss your concerns, counsellors are required by their profession to keep everything you tell them private and confidential.
