Education Management

Partner: Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization - Regional Training Centre in Vietnam (SEAMEO RETRAC)

T he RETRAC mission is to assist the Vietnamese education system and SEAMEO Member Countries to identify problems in education management and to address these issues by providing services such as research, training, consultancy, information dissemination, networking and partnerships. The Centre is currently focusing on providing education management expertise within Vietnam, Lao PDR and Cambodia, reflecting priorities of the current reform process in Vietnamese education.

Camosun College's relationship with SEAMEO RETRAC includes collaboration in educational development initiatives such as a CIDA funded Partnership Project (1997-2001), facilitation of workshops, participation in scholarly conferences, and development project proposals. SEAMEO RETRAC and Camosun College have had a formal relationship since 1997, and continue a warm friendship beyond participation in project activities.
