English Language Development

Partner: Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization - Regional Language Centre (SEAMEO-RELC)

Beginning in 2002, Camosun College took part in a project to deliver English Language instruction to public officials from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Vietnam, and Timor L’este. The purpose of the project was to assist trainees to develop (and occasionally upgrade) skills in job specific English language proficiency so that they could use communicate effectively at ASEAN and other international meetings.
