Lauren has been an Instructor at Camosun's CMLA Program since May of 2023. She graduated from Camosun's CMLA Program in 2014 and spent 9 years working at LifeLabs as an MLA, holding positions in both patient-facing and analytical support roles. She participated in numerous projects and attained additional training in 5S Lean methods, Train-the-Trainer, and SOP Document Editing. In 2023, Lauren shifted her focus and took a casual MLA position at Island Health, working primarily at Saanich Peninsula Hospital and other Island Health satellite labs.

Lauren is a lifelong equestrian and critter keeper. She loves to spend time with her horse, dog, chickens and ducks. She and her partner are part-time residents of Pender Island, BC. They hope to one day have a small hobby farm on the island.

Lauren is currently working on courses to obtain her Provincial Instructor Diploma.
