The public is invited to Camosun's Lansdowne campus for the Korean Cultural Festival on September 21, 2017 from 11am to 3pm in Na'tsa'maht (Indigenous Gathering Place). The festival is a great opportunity to experience a little bit of Korean culture. Everybody is invited to this free event.
The festival will have displays of a variety of Korean cultural materials with a visit from the Korean Consul from Vancouver. There will be free samples of great tasting Korean foods like bulgogi, japchae, sujeongwa, ddeokbbokgi, gimbap, and Kimchi.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to make the Korean dish gimbap, as well as trying on hanbok, the traditional Korean clothes, and play some traditional games. Kuk Sool Won Victoria will demonstrate Korean martial arts and there will be a K-pop dance performed by students.
This event is generously sponsored by the Korean Cultural Centre, the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea, the Korean Culture and Information Service, Kuk Sool Won Victoria, and the School of Arts and Science at Camosun College.
