To wrap up this CoP for the year, we'll do something different!
Please read the article at https://globalnews.ca/news/4149818/vancouver-cautionary-tale-money-laundering-drugs/ and come prepared to discuss the themes from your professional perspective. Themes include: The opioid epidemic, real estate, casinos/money laundering, shipping, policing. My intention is to generate curiosity about the varying perspectives on this complex issue.
We’ll chat about this F2F over lunch at Interurban in May and at Lansdowne in June. Please bring/buy your own lunch.
For more information, please contact facilitator Val Montague at MontagueV@camosun.bc.ca.
Our students are entering complex work environments where they will need to take into account multiple perspectives, and collaborate across a wide range of disciplines. How can we better prepare them for this reality? How can we as educators begin collaborating more effectively so that we are modelling interdisciplinary practice? If you get excited about innovating new approaches to education, and want to draw on a diversity of perspectives, then join us for stimulating conversation with an action oriented focus.
