Career Seminar - Pizza and drinks provided to attendees

Come join in an interactive, engaging and informative conversation where over 60 minutes we will explore the wild and wonderful world of volunteer service in community.  If you have ever asked yourself questions such as:  Will volunteering help me to find paid work? What is service learning? What are the benefits of volunteering?  What is strategic volunteering? Where can I find a meaningful volunteer opportunity in Victoria? then please do join us on March 21st beginning at 11:30am as these questions and more will be explored.  Light refreshments will be provided and I hope you can come and join the fun!

Speaker: George Colussi, Volunteer Services Associate & Youth Programmer, Volunteer Victoria
After many years working for a diverse range of organizations in the not-for-profit sector, George joined the Volunteer Victoria team in January 2014 in membership services. He now works on the volunteer services team delivering presentations to organizations & individuals of all ages and supporting the activities and learning journey of the youth involved with the “Youth Advisory Committee” at Volunteer Victoria.   As George puts it, “My work at Volunteer Victoria is a powerful privilege since it allows me to link daily with individuals and organizations that are undertaking transformational work in community”.
