This film & discussion event focuses on rural African farmers’ limited access to fair trade markets. It argues that rural African farmers are incredibly productive. However, their productivity does not translate into poverty reduction. This is mainly because a bigger portion of their products either gets rotten for the lack of markets or sold cheaply on unfair trade markets.
