Event Planning Fundamentals
Do you plan special events, fundraisers, weddings, conferences, corporate or private events? Paid or volunteer? Then this course is for you. We will review all stages of the event planning cycle (research, design, planning, implementation and evaluation) and within these stages we will learn about; event insurance, budgets, timelines/work plans, venue selection, decor, sponsorship, marketing and volunteer management. We will discuss current trends in events and the various roles for planners within the event industry.
