Nine Camosun students reported for class January 17 at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) as part of a six-month program that combines academic study, paid training and work experience at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

The students were asked on the first day of class to draw what hospitality and tourism means to them. Camosun’s cohort decided that whether working in the industry, or enjoying holiday time, it’s all about bringing people together. Check student Erica Amber’s blog to see the international symbol of hospitality that Camosun teammates choose to represent the world of tourism and hospitality. Plus, check out the additional pictures on Amber’s blog of the Camosun students onsite at UCR.
