If college is in your future, why wait until September? That’s almost a whole year away! You can apply now to start in January, May or July for upgrading or university transfer classes. A number of career programs also have early intakes.
Upgrading
Upgrading courses are designed for adult learners who need to meet admission requirements for other college/university programs, or to brush up on skills that have become a bit rusty over the years. Or maybe you never graduated from high school and are ready to do that now.
Camosun offers all levels of upgrading in math, English, English as a second language, biology, chemistry and physics. You can update your basic computer skills, or learn some useful study tips in a learning skills course. Most of these courses are tuition-free!
Courses at the Grades 11 and 12 level begin in the first week of January, May or July, as well as September. Courses up to the Grade 10 level have start-dates throughout the year.
Registration is first-come, first-served, so don’t delay, apply today!
"Career Access"programs start in January to help prepare you for full-time career programs that start in the fall.
University Transfer & Associate Degrees
If it’s a bachelor degree you want, Camosun is a great place to start. You can do your first two years here and then transfer into 3rd year studies at any BC university.
Camosun offers more than 300 first- and second-year university transfer courses in arts, science, business and health including many courses that offer an Indigenous perspective.
If you take a class or two in January, you’ll be ahead of the game in September!
University Transfer courses are available during the day or in the evenings. If you want to jump in full-time starting in January, apply for a two-year Associate Degreesprogram in Arts or Science.
