Classes don’t just start in September—many run all year-long, so get started early

Apply now for Winter, Spring or Summer in upgrading, university transfer, and career-training programs.

Upgrading

Many adult learners start with upgrading courses, to meet admission requirements for other college programs, or to brush up on skills that have become a bit rusty over the years. Or maybe you never graduated from high school and are ready to do that now.

Camosun offers all levels of upgrading in math, English, English as a Second Language (ESL), biology, chemistry and physics. You can update your basic computer skills, or learn some useful study tips in a learning skills course. Most of these courses are tuition-free!

Courses at the Grades 11 and 12 level begin in the first week of January, May or July, as well as September. For courses up to the Grade 10 level you can start whenever you're ready.

Career Access programs are offered in January to help you get ready and meet admission requirements for full-time career programs that start in the fall.

University Transfer and Associate Degrees

Start your university studies when you’re ready, part-time or full-time. Take classes during the day or in the evenings. Classes start in January, May, July or September. Camosun offers more than 300 first- and second-year university transfer courses in arts, science, business and health including many courses that offer an Indigenous perspective.

If you’re looking for focused, full-time studies, you can get an early start in January to begin a two-year Associate Degree program in Arts or Science.
