In February 2020, Camosun College students will be invited to participate in the Canadian Campus Wellbeing Survey (CCWS). Developed by researchers and practitioners from Canadian colleges and universities, this new survey helps Canadian post-secondary institutions to better support student mental health and wellbeing. The survey was piloted on a small number of campuses in Fall 2019 and now is being implemented at post-secondary institutions across British Columbia.
An unique survey link will be emailed to each Camosun College student inviting them to participate in the survey.
The survey will take students 20 minutes to complete and covers nine core sections related to student health and wellbeing, including mental health assets, mental health deficits, student experience, health service utilization, physical health, academic achievement, substance use, nutrition and sexual health behaviour.
In appreciation for participating, students may enter a draw to win one of five $50 Camosun College Bookstore gift cards.
