Tuesday, Feb. 4, 6:30am — Camosun’s campuses are CLOSED on Feb. 4 due to heavy snowfall and challenging road conditions being reported throughout the region. All classes and services will be closed for the day.

Students and employees are encouraged to stay warm, keep safe and avoid travel if possible.

Prince Solanki, an international student at Camosun College pursuing a Post-Degree Diploma in Sports Management, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to sports and student governance. Elected to the Board of Governors as a student representative from August 2024 to July 2025, Prince showcases his leadership abilities and commitment to advancing student interests within the college community. Previously serving as the Student Wellness and Access Director within the Camosun College Student Society (CCSS) and going into the role of an External Executive from May 1, 2024 - April 31, 2025. Prince has demonstrated his capacity to advocate for student welfare and enhance campus life. Academically, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physical Education, Health, and Sports in 2018 along with a Bachelor's in Physical Education and a Diploma in Yoga Vidya (2020). Beyond academics, Prince has excelled in sports as a former national level Judo player and a coach, embodying a spirit of excellence and dedication to elevating the game.
