Tax deductible donations and sponsorships

One hundred per cent of your donation to the Camosun Foundation's TRADEmark of Excellence Campaign is specifically allocated to the college's Trades Education and Innovation project. Donations to the Campaign are tax deductible in accordance for the provisions of the Canada Revenue Agency.

After graduating from university with a Bachelor of Arts, Sara Wilson found herself working at a coffee shop and not seeing a future. "I wanted something where I could make a difference," says Sara.

As a child, Sara played with Lego. A lot. She loved building things. "At the end of the day I wanted to be able to say, "I built that!"

Besides sharing his knowledge with Camosun Plumbing and Pipe Trade students, Darren is known as the solar thermal system "go-to guy" for college and university educators.

As the only trades person in Canada to hold solar heating certifications from the two largest certification bodies in North America, he is also a key education committee member for both.
