About Martha

I am grateful to have been a faculty member at Camosun since 2006, teaching for 10 years in the Community, Family and Child Studies diploma program before shifting over to CETL. I have a passion for helping to create a sense of belonging and community, in order to enhance teaching and learning at Camosun. I like to nurture opportunities for interdisciplinary peer-to-peer dialogue, with a strengths-based approach.

When not at work you will find me biking, hiking, swimming, and hanging out with my family (husband, adult sons, and puppy!). I have lived and raised my family in Coast Salish territory, since migrating west from Ontario in 1986.
