About Charlotte

I joined Camosun and the Curriculum Development and Program Renewal Team in CETL in August, 2020. Coming to Camosun feels in some way like coming home. I began my post-secondary life as a student at Camosun, and now here I am back at the College as a faculty member, working with other faculty to develop and enhance their programs.

Program and curriculum development have been the constants throughout my career, as an ESL instructor and curriculum developer at the University of Victoria, as an active member on the BC Articulation Committee and Deans and Directors of Developmental Education Committee, and as Director of the English Language Centre and Associate Dean of International Education at Vancouver Island University. I am a firm believer in life-long learning and, in addition to my BA in Applied Linguistics and MEd in Curriculum Studies, I have recently completed an MFA in Creative Writing.

It’s a joy and a privilege to be part of the Camosun community, and to live and work on the traditional territories of the Lkwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples.
