RSS? What’s that?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is an easy way to help save time on the Intertubes.
When you subscribe to an RSS feed on a website, blog or a webpage, every time something new is put on that page you’re alerted.
Let’s get started!
Step 1: Sign up for or download an RSS reader. You need to have a home where you can read the new posts— your RSS reader. Several different online readers are available for free:
Most web browsers and email programs, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Outlook and Thunderbird can read RSS feeds as well.
Step 2: Set
up a subscription to our RSS feed. Just look for the RSS icon and click
it
. The feed with either open in your chosen RSS reader, or your computer
will offer you a choice of how to save the subscription..
Manually adding an RSS feed to Outlook 2007
