Camosun Alumni enjoy the following benefits and services. Remember to return to this site to learn when additional discounts become available!
- Alumni pin: The Alumni Association is proud to offer a free alumni pin. Please drop by the Alumni Relations office at Interurban and we'll be happy to provide one to you.
- Alumni career assistance: Student Employment Services (located at both campuses) are available to alumni, free-of-charge. If you are switching jobs, looking for work or need help revising your resume, networking, coaching or interviewing skills, contact employ@camosun.bc.ca, 250–370–4181.
- Library access: Alumni have access to the college libraries and can check out books and various reference journals through the Community Borrowers service. Community borrower services are also available at Royal Roads and UVic.
- RefWorks: Alumni now have lifelong free access to RefWorks, an online research management tool. You may not have subscribed while a student at Camosun but you can still gain free access as an alumnus. Simply email the library library@camosun.bc.ca or the Alumni office alumni@camosun.bc.ca to obtain the necessary group code information.
- Official transcripts: Requests for transcripts are processed through Student Services. Please follow these simple steps.
- Duplicate Credentials: Alumni who require a duplicate credential will need to complete a Request for Credential form and pay a $10.00 fee. Your form should be faxed to Student Records at Lansdowne (250-370-3551).
- Professional development/Continuing education: More than 200 professional development and personal interest classes are available daytime, evening, weekends and part-time and new classes are added each term. If you're ready to advance your career or just take some fun courses visit Continuing Education for all the choices available.
- Apple discounts: Alumni have access to Apple educational discounts through the Camosun bookstore up to 30 days after they graduate and a percentage of sales is returned to support the college. For more information contact bookstore@camosun.bc.ca.
- Diploma frames: Get 20% off your college diploma frame (expiry dates apply) through the college bookstore after you graduate.
- Alumni mugs: Sturdy 16oz ceramic mugs in a variety of great colours are available through the college bookstore.
- Fitness and recreation discounts: Special discounts on fitness and activity classes are available to alumni (upon confirmation of alumni status).
