Hello folks. My name is Robert Wells and I have had the privilege of being a guest in this territory for over 30 years. I am of Blackfoot (father) Cree (mother) Irish descent from South Central Alberta.

Like many Aboriginal children of my generation, my early years of schooling occurred at an Indian residential school. After residential school, I attended several universities in Canada and the United States where I obtained my teaching credential.

For awhile I taught in the public school system, both in the classroom and in special education. Now I'm an instructor in the Indigenous Family Support program at Camosun College.
