Dianne Biin
Educational Facilitator, Education Support and Development, Indigenous Faculty

Welcome. I am from Tsi Del Del in Tsilhqot’in territory. I thank the Coast and Straits Salish peoples for allowing me to live and work on their land for the past 17 years.

I started working at Camosun College in 2009 as an instructor in the Indigenous Studies program. I have taken on different management and teaching roles in the college ever since. I am currently working at both campuses. I am with the Educational Support and Development Department supporting teaching and learning opportunities with teaching faculty. As well, with my community development background, I lend my expertise to teach various courses in the School of Business' Indigenous Business Leadership, Tourism Management and Business Administration diploma programs.

I am humbled and honoured when working with Indigenous students as our knowledge and experience builds business in a respectful way. The strength shared by students I then share with instructors to build better relationships in the classroom.
