Aboriginal Academic Upgrading
The Community Learning Partnerships Department offers upgrading in partnership with local Aboriginal communities. Courses in English, math, and computer studies include Indigenous components designed to meet the needs of Aboriginal students.
These upgrading courses will help you obtain or review high school skills to
- complete admission requirements for a post-secondary program
- prepare for employment
- satisfy personal interests or goals
You can take courses one at a time from Fundamental and Intermediate levels to Advanced and Provincial College Preparatory levels, or grouped as a
Or, you can begin working towards the BC Adult Graduation Diploma (Grade 12 equivalency)
Courses are offered in a self-paced format from September to April (Fall & winter). For more information, contact the instructional assistant at the community centre you wish to attend:
