Aboriginal Education Awards
All Aboriginal Education & Community Connections (AECC) awards have the following requirements:
- Aboriginal (First Nations, Métis, Inuit, or Native American) ancestry
- GPA of 2.5 or equivalent (exception–Anthany Dawson Award)
- Completed application form, including all additional criteria
There are some important things to think about when you are getting ready to apply for an Aboriginal Award.

Coast Salish Education & Training Society (CSETS) Award for Coast Salish Trades Students
Criteria
- Available to Coast Salish students in trades programs.
- Self-written letter, 200-250 words, outlining the student's goals in their trade
- Financial need given consideration
- AECC awards criteria and general application (pdf 214kB)
Award amount: $500-$700
Yaay'us
- Available to students who need a short-term course to further their educational or employment goals.
- Self-written letter, 250-300 words, outling what the short-term training is and how it relates to teh student's educational goals
- Financial need given consideration

The Camosun College Foundation administers many awards available to all students at the college.
